The Striker launcher was a slow-moving tracked unit designed to provide mobile and zero-length launching facility for the NSDF Striker. It does not appear to have any capacity to support landing, likely making it single-use, and does not seem to be fitted to provide the Striker with any additional protection. It does, however, appear to employ STAB Hooks.
Fate
The removal of aircraft from Battlezone: Rise of the Black Dogs also led to the removal of support units designed for them, which included the Striker launcher. At the time, the Striker Launcher seems to have existed only as concept art.
Trivia
- The Striker launcher is the only unit from the Biometal War era to have employed tracked propulsion, and is the only tracked unit in the entire Battlezone series to employ STAB Hooks.
