The Rise of the Black Dogs Decompilation Project is a development project run by the Heracles Brigade aiming to port the exclusive contents of Battlezone: Rise of the Black Dogs to Battlezone and Battlezone 98 Redux.
Rise of the Black Dogs Re-Orchestrated[]

The decompilation project's first release was a re-orchestrated version of the game's soundtrack, packaged with a fully re-orchestrated version and the source MIDI files and samples. The pack was finished and released in July 2015,[1] and a replacement soundtrack for Battlezone 98 Redux was uploaded to the Steam Workshop on April 9th the next year.[2]
Black Dog Voice Pack[]
On July 3rd 2016 the Heracles Brigade made a second small release, this time a small sound mod which replaced the voices of Black Dog units in Battlezone 98 Redux with the unique lines used in the Nintendo 64 version.[3] A version compatible with the original 1998 title was announced to coincide with the release of Battlezone 98 Redux: The Red Odyssey.[4]
