Frank Tinning, known in the Battlezone player community as King Kobra, is a Canadian living in Central Alberta. He contributed three maps to Battlezone: Battle Grounds, the game's first expansion. He also beta tested the game's sequel, Battlezone II: Combat Commander, and continued with that game and its community for some time.
As as an early and avid fan of the game he co-hosted a Battlezone fan site called Kings' Kafé in partnership with Jason L'Hirondelle. The site provided news, help for mapmakers, and downloads of many player-made maps.
