Elysium is the planet that the Black Dog, Chinese, and Soviet forces were trying to control for its Biometal. Its soil composition is mostly volcanic rock and its atmosphere is extremely hostile with constant thunderstorms and thick poisonous air. The planet was used as a secret base by the Hadeans to produce Furies, having constructed the Pegasus Device to allow instantaneous transport to the planet from the Sol system. The large deposits of Biometal on the surface suggest that Elysium became the site of major conflict towards the end of the Cthonian Biometal War.
