Blake "Dummy" Robinson is a British musician and software developer known primarily for music released as his eponymous Synthetic Orchestra. He has also worked as a game designer and software developer, and was responsible for the development of a number of utilities for Battlezone mod developers.
Background[]
Robinson graduated Strode College in 2001, and entered the video game industry as a quality assurance tester for Electronic Arts, where he progressed to working as a tools analyst and developer. He remained at EA until Setember 2007 before joining Scottish developer Realtime Worlds, also as a tools developer. From there he moved on to Outplay Entertainment in August 2011, also in Scotland, before leaving to become a freelance composer in early 2012. He now works full-time on his Synthetic Orchestra project.[1]
